Become a Big
Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sisters is something that you can do. The first step is calling the BBBS office at 453-5521. Have questions, concerns? Just ask, we’ll answer your questions, and get you started fast in the program you would like to be involved in.
To be a Big in the community-based program or the club-based program, you need to be at least 19 years of age, a resident of Great Falls and surrounding area , and have a desire to share some fun with a young person.
Married couples have the option of mentoring a child together. Group volunteers are individuals who volunteer on a part-time basis to accompany unmatched children to agency sponsored group activities. Group volunteers go through the same interview process as a Big, and have the option of becoming matched later on.
Currently, the Buddies Program matches high school students or adults with elementary students. Interested high school students and community adults can contact BBBS. High school students can also contact the counseling office at their high school for more information about becoming a Big Buddy. The Buddies Program also allows adults to mentor at East Middle School. This option will be available to anyone with an hour long lunch or a pro-community employer willing to let their employee spend an hour of work time at the school each week during the school year.

| Jaydon, thanks for being such a GREAT little brother. I am delighted that we were matched together. We have so many common interests and I look forward to our time together. Thank you for being so flexible with our meeting times, it is a huge relief that I know we can work out a time to meet or make it up the next week. I am looking forward to our summer activities and hopefully we will get out and do some hiking this summer. P.S. Great work getting your grades up and I believe you will like your new school. - Big Brother Thad
